Do not be surprised to find topics in the “orange book” (lecture notes) and optional problems in Mallard that will not be covered in class anymore.
It was our choice to lighten the list of topics in the class, to leave room, in particular
for the Research Activities Project. This list was carefully chosen by your instructors,
and discussed with the next level ECE classes instructors --none of the topics removed
are either necessary or assumed in the next level of ECE classes. The list of prerequisite
topics for next ECE classes is actually very minimal.
If you are curious about them, you are naturally welcome to read (lecture notes,
Mallard tutorial, additional reading suggestions …) and to practice (Mallard
homework which will not count in your final grade). We left everything in
place to allow you to learn more about these topics if you so desire!

No lectures on Capacitance, Inductance and Power systems (CN 16)
