Prof. Marie-Christine Brunet
About Me
- I was a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at The Center for
Supercomputing Research and Development
(CSRD). I am now a Lecturer
at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department
(ECE).
I am also Chief Advisor for all ECE undergraduate students in the Counseling Office (156 EL).
- I am from
Paris, France.
I have a Master Degree in Computer Science (1985) from the
University of Paris VI
(Jussieu), and a PhD in Applied
Mathematics (1989) from the University of Paris IX
(Dauphine).

- I like languages. I speak a few foreign languages....
like French (!), Greek, and Spanish too from High School.
I also learnt a bit of Japanese at UIUc, and Italian:-)
- I have been involved in theater, doing musicals. Check
www.cutc.org for coming plays at the Virginia Theater!

- I have taken Tap classes for a few years, and I am singing (Soprano 2) in the Parkland Chorus. We have a few performances every semester.
