Description:

(Formerly ECE 350) Time-harmonic analysis of transmission lines; impedance matching; general plane wave solution of Maxwell's equations; reflection and transmission of plane waves at material interfaces; dielectric and metallic waveguides; electromagnetic resonators; electromagnetic radiation and diffraction; antennas. Credit is not given toward graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering. Prerequisite: ECE 329.
