Notes for your MC68HC912B32

If you are having problems with your HC912
There are a few things that you can check for
  • Check the Teminal settings.
    • COM port
    • BAUD = 9600 Stop Bits = 1
    • Parity = None
  • You may have the 3 pin female connector of the RS-232 serial cable in backwords. Just reverse the connection.
    • The TRANSMIT pine and RECIEVE pin are probably connected backwards. You don't have to worry about blowing anything out on the HC912 Module. The ECE Shop has taken that into account and has designed the module accordingly. They placed a 5 volt zener diode to protect the power inputs.
WARNING!!! You need to be careful if you are working with a program in the EEPROM. If you have a program that runs into memory above $F6BF, this could erase the EEPROM loading program "(E)rase, (P)rogram, or (L)oadEE:". You will not be able to load any other programs.
